Volunteers make it all happen!
We love our volunteers at the Wentworth House, and enthusiastic volunteers are essential to our programs and events. Whether you have a little bit of time or a lot, and however you might like to be involved – greeting visitors at a living history day, teaching a workshop, tending our kitchen garden, working behind the scenes with historic objects, or organizing a community event – there is a place for you!
Drop us a line at paulwentworthhouse@gmail.com or call (603) 742-4747 and find out how you can be part of the excitement and fun at the Wentworth House.

Volunteer Spotlight
See the little lady holding the chicken? That’s Serena, our youngest ARCH volunteer. At the Colonel Paul Wentworth House, she has helped cook and serve hearth dinners, played colonial games with young visitors to the Colonial Market Fair, and even wrangled a chicken at our 1777 Home Front event!
Serena loves history and volunteering at the Wentworth House. We love Serena’s passion for the past, and we want to spark that same passion in all our visitors – young, old, and in-between. To do that, we need YOU!
