2024 ARCH Annual Meeting and Garden Concert with Jeff Warner

Come enjoy an evening of friendship and music in our garden!
All are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket along with their favorite snack or beverage, and enjoy this free program funded by New Hampshire Humanities to Go!
ARCH members old and new are invited to participate in a brief Annual Meeting to elect board members and officers for the coming year and to vote on some amendments to the by-laws.

Garden Concert with Jeff Warner
At 6:30, noted folksinger Jeff Warner will present Range the Wild Woods Over: Loggers’ Songs and Stories. This will be Jeff’s third appearance at the Wentworth House’s summer Music in the Garden series, and he will relate the songs and stories of the people who worked the wintry New England woods, showing their humor and their grit, and giving us a glimpse into everyday life in long ago lumber camps.
Jeff accompanies his songs on concertina, banjo, guitar, and several pocket instruments, such as bones and spoons. Jeff has toured nationally for the Smithsonian Institution and has recorded for Flying Fish, Rounder Records and other labels. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors.
