In the very beginning, ARCH relied on community support and donations both large and small to return the Colonel Paul Wentworth House to Rollinsford. Today, your memberships and donations continue to provide the foundation for all we do as we preserve and celebrate the rich history of our community.

Your donations at work

As is true with many museums and historical sites, memberships and entrance fees alone are not sufficient to fund the operations of the Wentworth House. Your donation helps us preserve the Wentworth House and its collections, offer workshops and living history events to the community throughout the year, and expand our educational programs for children, students, and homeschoolers.

Generous donations from our supporters have also allowed us to finance some very special annual projects! Recent projects have included:

  • developing educational support materials to help bring the past to life for our youngest visitors.
  • conserving and exhibiting a fragile 18th century wallpaper that has miraculously survived hundreds of years and two moves of the Wentworth House.
  • working with a designer to create the website you are on right now, with full photo galleries and interactive educational features that will increase our outreach.

ARCH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for supporting ARCH and the Wentworth House.
