The Civil War will come to life on Saturday, August 10 when members of the 1st New Hampshire Light Artillery, a Civil War reenactment group, will be encamped at the Colonel Paul Wentworth House!
The 1st New Hampshire Light Artillery was recruited from the Manchester area and saw combat from August 1862 through May 1865, including the battles of Second Bull Run, Antietam, Gettysburg, and Cold Harbor.
Visitors are invited to visit the camp from 9 am to 4 pm. Artillery drills and firings will take place at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 2 pm. Tours of the inside of the Wentworth House will also be available!
