Sewing 18th century fashions with the Wentworth Ladies
The Wentworth ladies will gather in the parlor to drink tea, sew, and discuss the latest fashions of the 1700s. Costumed in period attire, the ladies will demonstrate the tools and techniques involved in hand sewing 18th century clothing. Both completed garments and some in process will be on display.
DATE: Saturday, July 22, 2023
TIME: 1 and 4 pm
COST: $5 for adults, free to ARCH members and children
Hand sewing enthusiasts and fans of colonial fashions are invited! Interested members of the public are invited to bring along their hand sewing projects and join the ladies for this special afternoon.
